Infected Bulb

An infected bulb based on a "blight spore" from Path of Exile. Let's hope it doesn't try to spread!

If you want you can support me by buying the paid version on my Ravelry.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This pattern was never meant to be released as it is needlessly complicated and is structurally unstable. It CANNOT stand without support and a part of a pattern (veins) does not have a set guideline to get the exact design.

ONLY ATTEMPT THIS PATTERN IF YOU ARE VERY CONFIDENT IN YOUR CROCHET ABILITY!!!

Blight bulb veins (continue from previous piece)

Repeat R1-R5 with varying lengths and frequencies around the base to create a “veiny” pattern around the bulb.

R1: Ch 15, turn, sc in 2nd ch (15)

R2: sl st in next 5 st (This makes the stitch curved)

R3: ch 9, turn, sc in 2nd st from hook (9)

R4: sc across (8)

R5: sc back to the base of the branch and into the next stitch, 4sc (This creates spacing between the tendrils.)

Once done, sew the piece onto the bulb.

R1: Ch 14, sl st to 1st ch, ch1
