much so it can be shaped to be in a conal shape.

Shape the base as necessary.

Outer layer (Bottom) (Grey)

R1: 48 ch, sc to first st, ch 1 (48)

(The ring should fit around the bottom of the base adjust length accordingly.)

(This makes 4 strands in the 4 cardinal directions, make sure the length of each can reach the top.)

Sew this piece on, going around the bottom of the base and sewing the vertical strands on accordingly.

The bottom of the base is open, you can cover it up with a grey circle if you like.

Outer Layer (Diagonals) (Grey) x 4

R1: Ch 25, turn, sc in 2nd st

R2: Sc across (24)

Sew each of the strands on, 2 branching off from the front, 2 from the back

Note the sewing line used:

'

It starts off vertically and connected to the main vertical strand, then goes diagonally towards the top of the next vertical strand. Repeat for each of the strands.

Once sewn on, the pattern is complete.
